Construction crews topped out the steel frame for the new safe-standing deck this week, marking a key milestone toward a 5,500-capacity Nordecke. Project manager Alicia Torres said weather delays were minimal thanks to prefabricated sections.

The Crew will begin installing LED fascia and premium loge boxes in December, giving stadium operators time to calibrate content before preseason events.

Fans touring the site can already see how the double-decker capo stand will improve sightlines and atmosphere.

Bezbatchenko noted that accessibility was factored in: “We built dedicated ramp access for supporters with mobility needs, ensuring everyone gets the same vantage point.”

The project should wrap before the annual “Black & Gold Week” celebration in March, when the club plans a public unveiling.
