Gavin Brindley put up six points in four games at the Karjala Cup, showcasing his playmaking on the big ice. Player development coach Greg Campbell said Brindley’s poise “makes him look NHL-ready even against veteran internationals.”

In Cleveland, Daniil Tarasov is on a three-game win streak, posting a .926 save percentage as he rehabs from a mid-October injury.

Defenseman David Jiricek is also logging heavy minutes with the Monsters and could earn a recall once Columbus needs a right-shot blueliner.

“The depth is encouraging,” Vincent said. “We know reinforcements are performing, which takes pressure off the top NHL roster.”

The Jackets will continue rotating prospects into practice skates to keep them familiar with the system.
